Binocular Optical Loupe Design
Perioptix binocular optical loupe is designed to improve the ergonomic posture for dental hygienists and other professionals doing delicate manual operations. This device magnifies the working area and allows the wearer to maintain an ergonomic upright posture, with head, neck, spine and hips in perfect alignment, minimizing strain on eyes and body. The product features a sleek and low profile design with adjustable declination angle and interpupilary distance, and is available in various magnifications, working distances and with accessories such as an attachable lighting system. Nectar started this next generation product with engineering analysis to optimize structure, improve stiffness, strength and usability, and used this understanding to enable compelling industrial design. Nectar took the design from concept to production ready design, sourced the tooling and manufacturing resources, and worked with them to take the product into production.
