ProjectMix I/O: industrial design

Nectar collaborated with the M-audio team on the Project Mix I/O, bringing hands on analog type mixing to the digital world. Nectar provided industrial design creating a form friendly to the user while maintaining visual ties to high end professional studio equipment. Knobs and faders with tactile surfaces and forms to allow the user to feel the mix rather than drag a mouse; soft palm rest areas keep the user comfortable during late night sessions.
