Process

Research is a critical part starting any new venture. In product design, we help shorten and improve the design process by performing important research such as - patent research, competitive products research, existing technology research, contextual research (the environment that the product is used in).

Ideation is where we explore all the possible solutions within the guidelines of our product requirements. Aesthetic and human factors are considered along with mechanical concepts in order to achieve a balance of form and function.

Engineering design, mockup and testing can then take place. Utilizing 3D computer aided design software, the device takes shape and is fine tuned into a viable product through virtual assembly, testing and fitting. Emphasis is then place upon transforming the product into manufacturable and cost effective components.

Prototyping creates a physical model and assembly that offers full function to be tested and presented to potential buyers. With our 3D models, various cost effective prototyping methods are employed to create parts that are – plastic, rubber, metal, sheet metal, foam, and many more.
